The activity of writing an article and posting it chronologically with regularly update is called blogging. Blogging is about more than just putting your thoughts on the web. It's about connecting with and hearing from anyone who reads your work.

Blogging was for long called as a personal affair. It used to be like writing and maintaining an online diary, done with no intention of promoting products, earn cash, advertise and sell things, support a cause, make money, etc. The aim of blogging was to air one's view and opinion to a wider world on the web.

It was only with the passage of time and with the considerable growth of demand in the field of the blogosphere, people are taking advantage of a chance to blog full time, professionally.

Blogging today has become a lucrative profession for hundreds and thousands of people across the glove. Various blog networks employ people to manage and edit content on the site and are constantly in need of a blog writer, editor, content writer, and proofreaders. Some companies also employ blog editor on a freelance basis.

If you are thinking to get into the field of blogging but can't deploy enough time on the net than you can work as a part-time blogger too. Sites that employ a blogger on a full time or a part-time basis offer starting salaries in the range of that earned by online content writer/ journalists. While a fresher working as a copy editor for a blogging community could earn little cash but for fulltime blog writer salary has no limits.
